The tritium custom synthesis offered by MB is designed to minimize uncertainty about the outcome of a project. A detailed quotation is used to outline the specifications of the final product before work is started. The compound will meet the agreed upon specifications for minimum specific activity, total activity, and purity (usually 97% by HPLC) or no fee is charged.

A variety of labeling techniques and synthetic procedures are used to efficiently tritiate even relatively unstable biochemicals.

Custom Synthesis with Sulphur-35 - Quotation Form

A variety of techniques are used including a sulphur-35 labeling method developed by MB scientists to efficiently label Thiopurines and Thiopyrimidines up to nucleotide level.

Sulphur-35 [35S] custom synthesis includes the following:

Custom Synthesis with Carbon-13 - Quotation Form

Extensive experience in preparation of nucleic acid components and their analogs makes our efficient custom carbon-13 synthesis the right choice.

Carbon-13 custom synthesis includes:

  • Performance of the synthesis as outlined in our quotation
  • Purification by paper, thin layer or high performance liquid chromatography
  • Determination of the final product's chemical purity
  • Documentation of the final product's identity, chemical purity and isotopic enrichment

Oligonucleotide Custom Synthesis with Tritium, Carbon-14 or Sulphur-35 - Quotation Form

  • Labeling of phosphodiester phosphorothioate oligonucleotides with phosphoramidites of DMT-Td, [4,6-14C]- or DMT-Td, [methyl-3H]- incorporated in specific position during synthesis
  • High molar specific radioactivity (100µCi for each µmol of Td, [4,6-14C]- incorporated or up to 3mCi for each µmol of Td, [methyl-3H]- incorporated)
  • Multiple position labeling and multiple isotope labeling available
  • Radiosulfur labeling in specific position (single or multiple) of phosphorothioate oligonucleotides, to incorporate up to 500 µCi of 35S for each µmol of nucleotide labeled
