Oligonucleotide Custom Synthesis with Carbon 14, Tritium or Sulfur 35

Moravek is licensed by the California Department of Public Health, Food and Drug Branch, for the preparation, and 14C, 3H or 35S labeling of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for research. In addition, Moravek is allowed to handle schedule I-V classified compounds under DEA authority.

The non-GxP [35S] product manufacturing process begins with a conversation between you and Moravek radiochemistry specialists. Project scope of work and scheduling are all discussed. All elements essential to your project’s success will be discussed in order to arrive at an appropriate scope of work and to ensure the success of your custom [35S] project.

Moravek is able to perform the custom syntheses of your 14C, 3H or 35S oligonucleotide which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Labeling of phosphodiester phosphorothioate oligonucleotides with phosphoramidites of DMT-Td, [4,6-14C]- or DMT-Td, [methyl-3H]- incorporated in specific position during synthesis
  • High molar specific radioactivity (100μCi for each μmol of Td, [4,6-14C]- incorporated or up to 3mCi for each μmol of Td, [methyl-3H]- incorporated)
  • Multiple position labeling and multiple isotope labeling available
  • Radiosulfur labeling in specific position (single or multiple) of phosphorothioate oligonucleotides, to incorporate up to 500 μCi of 35S for each μmol of nucleotide labeled
  • Purification by HPLC
